We may have completely forgotten the original 'trigger' situation and find ourselves feeling irrationally anxious, phobic or nervous in certain situations such as meeting new people or public speaking.
It may well be that your anxiety isn't necessarily 'triggered' but that you live with an underlying feeling of nervousness or fear that makes moving forward, trusting yourself or making decisions extremely difficult for you.
